February 2015 Budget Challenge

So A new month A new goal! This month is our Pantry Challenge, we will not be ‘grocery shopping’. Instead of our normal $400 budget we are doing a $150 budget. $100 of it is for groceries for the month and $50 is for any stock up deals we see threw out the month. I started this month off with the following Gift Cards:

• $10 Target Gift Card from Superpoints
• $25.06 Target Gift Card from previous in store promos and Left over from last month

• $25 Amazon Gift Card from Perk
• $25 Amazon Gift Cards from InstaGC
• $3 Amazon Gift Card from Zoom Bucks

Remember my income isn’t steady since it get paid on a per project basis and over half the money I earn this month I wont see until next month.

Rent - $1449

Electric – $199 ( we are on the budget plan so this is pretty much our set bill)

Water – $66

Gas – $250

Cell Phone $155

Car and Rent insurance $140

Internet $51

Credit Card Payment $210

Direct TV – $55

Grocery $150

Pharmacy $50

My Car Payment $355

Hubbys Car Payment $256

Newspapers $25

Eating Out $100

Baby Supplies $100 (to include Diapers, Wipes, mics)

Homeschool $25

Entertainment $100 (included is netflix) This is any cost to get out of the house with the kids, we try to use this from one on one time with the kids

Clothing $10

Hair $60 I plan to TRY to get a hair cut this month… wish me luck! Plus hubby’s hair cut

Home Alarm $30

Home Related $25

Doctor $100 (Co-Pays and anything not covered by insurance)

ATM Fees $10 (since out bank isn’t local)

Valentines Day Party Supplies $30

Saving for College $100

Church Donation $100

IRA $100

Savings $500

This leaves us $373 in flex money. This is used for unexpected expenses threw out the month. Like last money when everyone was sick and we spent extra in Doctor visits and medicine. At the end of the month if we don’t use it then it goes to savings.
